March 24, 2009 Second annual fundraiser benefiting the work of The Jirani Project. Hosted by AZ State Rep., Kyrsten Sinema, the event was informative, fun and a great success!
December, 2008, First annual "camp" for our Kenyan Jiranis.
February 6, 2008, A fundraising event to benefit the work of The Jirani Project was held Saturday, February 16th, at Ticoz Resto-Bar in Phoenix. The event, hosted by AZ State Representative, Kyrsten Sinema, was the first of its kind for the Jirani Project.
October, 2008, Jirani Project co-founder, Dr. Beth Blue Swadener traveled to Kenya to visit the Jirani children, Project Coordinator and co-founder, Mark Okello, the Jirani advisory board, and to meet with colleagues (among many others).
June 27–July 18, 2007, Jirani Project co-founder, Dr. Beth Blue Swadener traveled to Kenya with Dr. Anita Jackson (Jirani Project sponsor and Beth's longtime colleague and friend) to visit all sponsored children and Jirani Project Coordinator and co-founder, Mark Okello.
